: Ibis; I took this photo of an ibis on a cloudy day. I loved the way the bright red bill stands out against the gray of the water and the white of the bird. Thank you, Vicki. I live in Viera, in the Melbourne/Space Coast area. Our neighborhood and area of the space coast was developed with a lot of open space and wetlands, so it is a wonderful place to live if you enjoy wildlife and birds.

Thank you, Steve. I am glad I was able to get the eye in the photo. He was facing away from me, and he took off right after I took the photo. They are rather unusual birds. When we first moved here, I was surprised one morning to find an entire flock of them in my front yard. Florida is an amazing place for bird photography.
