Hummingbird displaying tail spots

Hummingbird displaying tail spotsthis is another view of the hummingbird that visited one of our garden fountains earlier this year (end of May 2004)
It is displaying the white spots on its tail here. Believe only the female Rufous, Anna's and Allen's hummingbirds have the white spots on the tips of their tail feathers, and it's very difficult to tell the female Allens and Rufous females apart.
Apparently they display these white spots to show other hummers that a certain nectar feeder etc is "their territory".
