Fire in the Water - Hummingbird

Fire in the Water - Hummingbird"fire" in the water of the fountain, - from the hummingbird's iridescent throat feathers (gorget). It was a most gorgeous red/gold colour flashing in the evening light. Wonderful to see this.
Thought some of you might be interested to see this, altho realize it's not the best capture :) - but it's sortof unusual, so wanted to share it.
Had been gardening last evening and went inside to get the camera, when this male Rufous hummingbird came by for his evening bathe. He's very elusive, only stays a few seconds, and I was seated a bit too low to get a good capture, but he'd have zoomed away if I'd stood up. However, will try to do better and capture some better images of this elusive fella. I don't understand why the Rufous males are so elusive, plus they don't remain in our area very long.
