thanks again, Anne, glad you like it, -- we haven't been out in the local farmlands taking images for sometime, so are looking forward to doing so again soon. Keep wanting to go see if the snowy owls are in their local overwintering beach area near here, but can't see to get there : )

Nicely done, Alandra. Does look upset alright. They certainly don't like to be disturbed. Isn't your long lens fun?

I was shooting an egret recently and some kids came along and chased it off. Fortunately, I was ready for it and I got off a burst of shots as it passed by me. I'll submit that soon.

thanks Alan : ) - he really did seem ticked at us, we both laffed as he flapped away, - either that or he was saying "I'll fool YOU". On the way home, we noticed neither of these herons were in the same area, - we went up a side road nearby and they were there instead, further from the road. They are pretty smart, I think. They must've realized the previous time, we returned the same way and I got more photos of them. so took off yesterday before we returned : )
