Heron

: Heron; I wish I had better than a 3X lens. This guy flew up fairly close to me and landed here. I was standing in the back of my truck, trying to get a good shot at an egret which was also flying around the area. He just sat there as long as I was attached to the truck. The moment I stepped away, he flew off. I never did get a shot at the egret. Can't figure this. That is a maginificent silloutte. I have a couple of shots of egrets, but they don't come close. Love the clouds as a background.
