Captured from open window of vehicle, - had no time to fit it better into frame as it took off so fast, - was leaning way backwards on front seat to try to get the top of the power pole in the frame :) - It had been peering down at me as we stopped below the power pole, - the hawks are sooo cautious/elusive. Even when I'm trying to capture them as they fly in the fields quite a distance away, they soon move farther away. Love the steady gaze in this capture, as well as the talons
