Thanx all for the compliments. Yes for days she and hubby were luring me away but then I read somewhere how to find the eggs and I spent laborious time looking for it and voila. And she threw a fit at me going there. You should have seen it. Going to go there again and get video of her squaking. I have a bird ID book and I verified it on Yahoo that is ideed the kildeer. I think they are so beautiful.

I don't recall the kildeer we saw, having the dark bands at the top of it's chest. Must go back and look at my pics of it.
