Gravity Three

I have always had an interest in large scale physics. The name for the Gravity series was adopted from the fact that many current descriptions of gravity are illustrated by a mass (usually a ball), resting on a gravity field (net). This illustration helps to demonstrate that gravity is not uniform, but is pliant and conforms to the unique distribution of mass in a region of space. In addition to the structure of gravity it also helps to illustrate how the transmission of light is also effected by gravitational fields.

Your definitely losing it. Thanks for your comments. Since the pictures were taken from underneath, there is no correct orientation. Consequently, I rotated them any which way that pleased me. It is interesting to note that doing this allowed me in some cases to maximize the sense of movement within the shot.

reading that back... can you have a perception of perceived movement? I think I'm daft :)

I had been reminded of the gravity illustrations from your series, esp. astronomical concepts like black/white holes etc. This one's different from the others as the white area gives an impression of the ball lifting back up from the net, although the net movement contradicts upward energy. Interesting how the dark/light can alter the brain's perception of perceived movement.
