This is the day the terrifying Tsunami hit Asia.

My cousin and I were walking down the beach at that very moment. Since that was in Goa (West Coast of India), we didnt see anything dangerous though the water did come up to our ankles pretty fast while we were walking. Who knew it was an indication of the horrific thing that happened later. Saw it in the news and it was really unfortunate.
