Magnolia Angel

Magnolia Angel

Our beautiful southern magnolia blossom. For those of you who haven't seen one, the blossoms smell to me like a mix of white sugar icing (like on a wedding cake, and citrus). Very sweet, especially on warm spring nights. They look like lights among the dark green foliage.

A beautiful photo of a spectacular flower. I had never heard it called a Magnolia angel--but the name describes it. Well done!

This is so pretty with the whaddyacallits caught briefly in the upturned petals. Such an intense white :)
