this is a beautiful clear shot, which camera did you use? first time I've seen it, must have been before I joined. Believe these are peonies, - we get ants on the buds of ours, when they are tightly closed, but the ants don't seem to be there as much once the flowers are open.

Very pretty and delicate colouring. Makes me want to bury my nose in them and breathe in deeply :)
