Thanks, everyone for the comments! I was very surprised at the win, there were so many excellent images in the contest.

The Abbey of the Genesee grows sunflowers for their bakery (Monk's Bread, very popular in this area), but they seldom grow this much; I'd guess the field was 30 or 40 acres. I hope they do it again, it was a great photo opportunity!
