of the bird is outstanding. Thanks for sharing it with TLF.

Thanks so much Anne, for your very lovely comments about the pretty little Robin. :)

I noticed that stain too, Don. *LOL* I thought the English Robin might have been sipping Orange pekoe tea and it got a little darker right by its mouth. But it is a beautiful bird so we don't have to worry. *g* I loved the orange on its breast and its body seemed more rounded than our native Robin. But this one is such a cutie. I just loved it!! A great picture, Jas

Yes, I was lucky to catch this shot Alandra. Robins are a bit like blue-tits and rarely stay still for very long.

have only just seen this, Jas. Just precious. My favourite bird from childhood days in England. just love it.

Thanks for your comments, Whittler and Gunnar. Yes, the robins are very cute and very territorial, we often see them 'squabbling' in our garden to see whose home it will be. :)

Probably a stain from sipping tea, that would be my guess. Mike will straighten us out on this if he sees it. Another beautiful bird capture Jas! Don

Nice catchlight in the Robin's eye - quite a bit different from our Robins in the USA
