Amazing, I didn't realize Elk are or were a natural inhabitant of your area.

Thanks for the comments, A. Lovely, Lorraine, Carol and Karen. And this magnificient animal will not be hunted here in W.N.C. They live in the Nat. Park and even if they wander out of the park boundaries, Elk are not hunted. They were re-introduced here about 7 yrs ago and they are thriving.
