An egret in flight as it passed by after being disturbed from fishing by a group of children.

Beautiful birds in flight as well as on the ground. In my burst of shots, I noticed how the neck initially was outstretched but was gradually retracted. In this shot, perhaps a second into flight, the bird is just beginning to retract his/her neck.
