thanks Carol, course wish it was sharper, but was manually focussing and trying to hold that long lens still at the same time, lol. good practice tho, and such fun to watch as it was all happening :)

thanks Don for the nice comments and the help ID-ing the merganser. That was one type that I didn't think of, having never seen one before. Will hafta brush up on the types of waterfowl.
