Like stained glass patterns...The dragonfly's outstreched wings look so still, but I'm sure the 'dasher' didn't linger for a second photo. It takes patience and a quick shutter to capture these quick critters on a hot summer afternoon. I can just see you bent over the pond with your lens hovering over the water. Each photo is a treasure.
