While we were snowed in I decided to make a rag doll for my granddaughter and dress it in scraps from an outfit I recently made for her. Rather than sew on the face from the pattern, I used a photo I took of her last summer. Mike's daughter embroidered her name on the bodice adding a 'bling' gemstone to dot the 'i' in her name.

Ivy also made us the lighthouse throw and another dear friend made me the trapunto pillow on the doll's right side.
