Great job. It's hard to find a great web without holes in it!

Mel. This is worth enlarging framing and hanging on your wall. The dew drops look like pearls on a silk necklase the way the light catches the web and drops is wonderful mystical dramatic well done

Thanks Shiz, one important thing I have learnt from my photography course is to keep an eye out for photographic opportunities and take your camera everywhere with you. I'm not saying that I was walking down the driveway with my camera - I was actually taking the rubbish bin out to the road for collection when I spotted this web. I ran to grab my camera and snapped away (was late for work mine you!).

Mel, this is simply devine. You have such talent! I love how it is off-centre. You must have an eye forever open for a photo opportunity!

This is one of the best web shots I've ever seen, Mel. Macro's can be touchy and you caught this one beautifully.

Thanks everyone for your kind comments once again. It's a pitty I didn't catch the maker of this web - I shall keep trying though.

What a beauty! It's almost lost its photographic feel and become another art form :)

Hi Alandra, you are so kind. I took this photo on Macro (1cm) so I was rather close to it. I think my lense even touch the web on one photo I took. I just love taking macro's as you probably know!
