Damn the Dam

"Damn the dam cried the fantail,

as he flew into the sky,

to give power to the people

all this beauty has to die"

These are words to a NZ song referring to the destruction of our forests and bird life, so that man can create dams to supply electrical power. So much of our bird life is so sensitive to this sort of invasion.
