Bon Voyage

We went to the Port of Miami to watch the cruise ships set sail yesterday. We watched this beautiful Carnival vessel as she pulled away from her berth and glimpsed her again when we drove over the bridge heading for South Beach to look around. She sure makes the high rise luxury condos look small.

Thank you Mary, Alan, Steve and Don. I wasn't thrilled about the bridge railing either Steve. But there was no way to eliminate it or crop the photo without losing too much detail. I forgot to mention that this one has not been edited in any way - that's how blue those waters are in this area.

Tilted buildings are aggravating, Alan - I was glad that didn't happen here. After seeing so many at one time I would love to experience a cruise myself.

This wasn't the largest one that left the port on Sunday! Vicki

Wow, what a huge cruise ship. Very nice shot of it with the colorful buildings. Don

Lovely shot, Vicki. I like the way the horizontal lines of the ship's decks echo the floors of the high rise building. Pity about the hand rail in the foreground!

Really nice photo Vicky with great colors and straight buildings. I can't stand photos where the buildings are tilted. That is one big ship, I hope to take a cruise in the next couple years..
