This is a picture of the grave of a distant relative. The Bissos were in the tug business. This is the Captain's grave. The Bissos, according to family lore, started the ferry boat business in Louisiana by originally rowing people across the Mississippi River. The business grew and the state took over the business. There are still a few ferries in Louisiana along the Mississippi River but not as many as there once were.
