The cat was sitting on a wall infront of its house as we were driving past, so had to stop to get some images, and to pet it. thanks Don, glad you like it. Also love those flat faced Persians etc. We had a cream coloured flat faced Persian a few years ago, that we loved very much, - he was a stray that we adopted, only had him a couple years, - but he got into antifreeze somehow and had to be put down.

Have had this lens since quite awhile before Christmas, can't recall now exactly "when" I got it. But there was a special Canon Rebate offer "double your money back" if you bought certain items, - suddenly saw the "ad" on the wall at the camera shop in Vancouver, so decided to buy this. It is a lovely lens. But I was a bit disappointed that some of the "cat shots" were not as sharp as I'd have liked, - the ones where he rolled his head over. Maybe he moved, or perhaps it was getting a bit too dark. Not sure. But overall I do love the lens.

thanks for the nice comments, Carol and Marsha Sea. Oh, it was such a lovely cat, - great big furry legs and feet, so friendly. He/she had one of those "flat" faces. Some type of Persian cat I guess, am not too sure which type it is. Maybe someone onlist will know.
