Cat Tails

This is a common plant of the swamp. Parts of it are edible. The top when it becomes less solid can be shaken off and added to enhance flour and supposedly adds vitamins to the flour.

Thanks for the comment.Snakes are infrequent in this particular area. Snakes are more in the true deeper swamp then here. I have seen some but they slither away. I am told, they are more afraid of me then I of them.
