A monarch butterfly (I believe) chowing down along the Martin Luther King Waterfront in Oakland. Took this shot with a 24-70mm f/2.8 lens. Though this and other pix I took with this lens turned out excellent, I sold the lens tonight. It was too heavy to use as a general purpose, walk around lens. Since I do most of my shots outdoors, it made more sense for me to switch out to a 24-105mm IS f4.0. I am keeping my fingers crossed that I won't be disapointed with my decision.
