This is the Hale Bogg's Bridge over the Mississippi River, part of the I310 Highway system. Vehicles travel over it every day. Every thing from 18 wheelers to small cars travel on it daily. It is partially closed once a year for a foot race over it. The race is the Louisiana Altitude Challenge. We have no mountains in South Louisiana. Mount Driskall is in North Louisiana.
