Activity on the lake where I live does not start in the Fall until late afternoon, requiring a high ISO, a wide open shutter, and a lot of hope. I have a series that are somewhat abstract in form,color and motion that I am working on, just for the creativity of doing something different. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, but if you don't try, you'll never know.
