Thank you, Carol. The bird had scooped water into its beak and tilted his head back to swallow.

Thanks for commenting. They are about the size of a robin but not as full-bodied. They copy calls of other birds, hence the name.

I have had the chance to hand raise a couple of these birds--they become quite tame, but they can be aggressive towards other birds. Thank you for commenting.
