House near beach, under construction

House near beach, under construction

this large house is being constructed close to the beach, where we go to watch the Snowy Owls. The landscaping isn't finished yet, but it's going to be really impressive when complete.

Mountains in background are in North Vancouver and West Vancouver, BC. I'd love to have a tour to see the interior of the house :)

thanks again, Tania. Know what you mean. We haven't been there for sometime, but will be returning soon, as the Snowy Owls will be arriving back here for the winter before long. It will be interesting to see if the house owners might have planted some trees on the property since this image was captured.

Like all above great capture of a wonderful house. Im with Don "when is the Owl Party" I would have thought if they dont want it photographed then build big fences or plant trees. No luck though, and as this person works in the village where we have our house in France, I did not want to create any enemies! So I took the pictures down from my site. Hi Karen, thanks, and yes, you do have a good point there. Luckily the entire Boundary Bay region is a huge area, so believe it will be a long time before the wildlife feel threatened. Am sure everyone living here would be up in arms at the thought of this happening too. Perhaps there are already restrictions as to what can be built there, am not sure. Hope so :)

Did feel a bit "iffy" about this one, as there's a big sign about trespassers etc on the roadside near the house. Too bad really, as we are only admiring these places, right, and have no ulterior motive for showing the pics here, rather than wanting to share the pleasurable scene. So the owners should be flattered rather than feel privacy's been invaded. But there you go, everyone sees things differently, right. What did you do about this, btw?
