Another look at a lovely pine tree in Bastrop State Park. These trees are in a small area and usually grow in east Texas, so for me this was exciting to see.

I know what you mean. We have mostly scrub oak and smaller trees around here. That is what makes this Lost Pine forest so amazing, as these trees are found in east Texas. Thanks for viewing and commenting.

What a fun photo.. I like how you caught all of the large branches, they sure don't know what direction they want to grow... I also enjoy being around any big trees, the tallest things around here are the cactus :)
