Azalea Springtime in Vancouver

a beautiful colour of an azalea in a Vancouver garden, in the evening, as we passed enroute home recently. So had to stop to capture some images of this lovely sight. Think it's the tallest azalea that I've ever seen, certainly a wonderful colour of blooms.

thankyou again Susan. We were in that same area again today, - but of course, the azaleas aren't blooming at this time of year (here). guess they are blooming in your part of the world tho'.

I still can't get over the color. It is beautiful. The color stands out that much more against the green trees.

thanks Lorraine, yes it's more a tree than a shrub. They are usually smaller. Think this is the largest/tallest one I've ever seen. It was really "striking" on the corner of the front of the property.

Looks like its quite high, looks more like a tree, mine are bushy about 3ft to 4ft high if I'm lucky, med scrub size, very nice capture.
