beautiful bird. We hear them (and sometimes see them) when walking the dogs down near the "owl area", in the fields there, and have seen them as we leave this area also, lovely colours on them. Magnificent birds.

Beautiful capture. Are these birds hunted in your area? Years ago we had them in our area and they were hunted for during a certain season. No hunting now in this area and we don't see them anymore either. Beautiful bird.
