American Redbud

The American (Eastern) Redbud trees are quite a site this year. I don't think I've ever seen so many blossoms on them. I guess if you are a fan of pink, they would be very appealing. I never could figure our why they weren't named the American Pinkbud? I might have overdone this one, just having fun. Thanks for looking. Don

Don, this is a beautiful image, I love the way you have magnified parts of the flowers and such a wonderful colour. Did you know the American Redbud is related to the Pea family.

I have enjoyed viewing this image. Chriss:)

Really love this shot. Love the way you highlighted and magnified the buds so we could see the pretty flowers.

Don, I love it. All the elements work well together with the framed macros. Even here in New York (the Catskills), tree blossoms are popping out like crazy while the Spring leaves are unfurling faster than I can get the images I'm after! It's a strange spring. I love your handling of this one. Great job. Vicki
