Good shot, and I imagine this was moving pretty fast, so it's quite an achievement to have captured it so crisply. Alan, the wings of the aircraft have changed the air pressure which is what's forced water vapour to condense as the air moves across them. This is obviously slightly different from the condensation of water in the hot exhaust gases of the engine which is what we usually term a vapour trail.
