Just thought i would add this little info it would not be the same

In 1874, Baron Ferdinand de Rothschild bought a large estate in the area and built the mansion of Waddesdon Manor on a hill-top above the village. He transformed Waddesdon into an estate village, with new houses for employees and tenants, a school, a public house, cricket pavilion and village hall.

Waddesdon Manor and grounds are now the property of the National Trust, and Jacob Rothschild, 4th Baron Rothschild retains the estate and a house at nearby Eythrope, and theres a duck named after aylesbury too

still ni bet you were over joyed with the day then

Great shot SG.I suppose the identity lies in the grills.Could they be Morgans or MG's?

My father had a Riley sedan in the early 60's.I will never forget it.It was the standard racing green, and had a fifth gear, which was overdrive.

Oh yeah, not a bad looking abode you have.LOL

Thanks, Mike! Actually, it's a great change for me to be able to tell you something! This is Waddeston (the Rothschilds' modest little pile) and the cars are all old Singer models - I just happened to chance upon the Singer Owners' Club rally on the day I visited.
