Rufous Hummingbird Male

First Rufous Male hummingbird to arrive at our patio this spring.

He had just fed at the nectar feeder and was approaching the water bubble to bathe.

He was facing away from me, so unfortunately his brilliant iridescent throat/gorget feathers are not showing red/gold here.
