My Favourite Place
 | My favourite place would have to be my home town, and this view is one of the reasons! Taken from the Breakwater at the local Port (Port Taranaki), the view of our mountain is breathtaking & I can never get enough of it. The orange & blue boat in the foreground is a retired English lifeboat that is now used as a charter boat ("Chaddy's Charters") to take passengers & tour groups out on excursions to the nearby sugarloaves where they can view seals, dolphins & if you're really lucky, a passing pod of orcas!

Esthwaite Water, Lake District, Cumbria. England.
 | This is just one of many favorite places;
Esthwaite Water, Cumbria. is one of the smaller and lesser known lakes in the Lake District, National Park in northern England. It is situated between the much larger lakes of Windermere and Coniston Water.
The lake covers around 280 acres and is known for its excellent fishing, particularly trout and pike. It has been designated as a site of special scientific interest.
The lake was mentioned as the location where William Wordsworth conversed with a friend in Wordsworth's poem, "Expostulation and Reply," part of Wordsworth's Lyrical Ballads.

Going fishing
 | A rusty old tractor is launching a fishing boat in the early morning at Akitio Beach, New Zealand. This is my most favourite place. The beach also has a fish and chip shop which serves the best fish in the whole world!!!! It is an hours drive from home but well worth the trip.

Ancestral Home

Then it became obvious, that my favorite place has to be the Heckler barn, in Lower Salford/ Harleysville, PA, where my family staked its claim of the American dream over 250 years ago. This barn was built by an ancestor 11 generations before me and this land brings me a sense of pride and serenity.
