About This Image

FOr added income we've been shuttling rental vehicles between the new Southwestern Florida International Airport and the original lots.THe route takes us across a protected wildlife preserve and we're treated to numerous bird species, wild boar, deer, and even Florida panthers every day we work. These three stayed still long enough for me to grab their photo then flew off. The matte includes the flight of the middle bird which caught on the edge of the frame, so I incorporated the image into my background matte.

Thank you, everyone. I'll remember that location if I get down that way, May - add it to my ever-growing list of locations to get to! Alandra - you're too funny! I hope you kept the shot anyway - it could be an interesting frame if you manipulate it.May - I'm not using Photoshop but am thinking seriously about trying it out after some of the great images I've seen. I primarily use Microsoft's Digital Image Suite which I've used for several years (different versions) - but need to broaden my knowledge more.

really nice, Vicki and the framing is very unique and attractive. You did better than I did yesterday, as only got the feathery legs of the Snowy Owl as it took off at the top of the image lol - Looks like pantlegs dangling there : )

The storks are beautiful. If you're travelling into the Keys above Key Largo, going S, there's a mangrove stand with brackish water in it on the right. In the mornings it is full of storks, pelicans, roseate spoonbills, herons. I love the matte. I WISH I COULD LEARN PHOTOSHOP.
