About This Image

Taken yesterday on an art play date with an art buddy. We stopped at a fabulous new food store called Trader Joe's in East Liberty, Pittsburgh, PA. where I took the photo of these building tops.

The juxtaposition of the different shapes, the curves of the dome, the complexity of the neo-gothic tower, and the triangle of the foreground building, combine brilliantly. And the reinforcement of these shapes by the colour contrasts adds to the pleasure. A great image.

Nicely done, Mary. I love the contrasts in architecture and colors. The glass dome is amazing in itself.
