I saw a stat online that said it takes an average of 24 seconds to load a page on this website.
Does it take that long for you? My connection is fast, so it takes about a second to load on mine, but I'd like to get feedback from others to see if this is the case. Thanks, Brian |

For my old Windows Me computer on DSL it takes around five seconds for the pages to load. My laptop is a little faster at around three seconds.

About 1 to 1-1/2 seconds, Dell Inspiron 530, Intel quad-core processor, Time Warner Cable Road Runner. Love it!

I got the site in 2 seconds. I have Time Warner. But my I add, my youngest son
said I need more "ram". Now all I have to do is get him over here to put it in. So maybe in the near future it will be faster. |

"ram" is computer memory, and it can potentially speed up your computer if you have an insufficient amount for what you're actively running. However, 2 seconds is pretty fast. I imagine that it won't speed up much faster than that.
The slow connections being reported must be coming from dial-up connections being reported. I noticed that the site ranks well in some less advanced countries, so perhaps that's why. |
