I actually like the noise when standing underneath, that big WHOOSH WHOOSH is awesome LOL!! The sadness I mentioned is for the loss of natural scenery.

We live very close to these lovely things. We think they are great and visit them as often as we can. They are graceful gentle giants. They are not that noisy but what noise there is, is very soothing. They are better to take photos of (any time of the day or night) than nuclear power stations!!!

Sadly Im sure theyre planned for all the way along the Ruahine ranges (plus some). They are noisy but only when standing underneath.

Nice capture, these wind farms seem to be popping up all over the country now, hope we dont end up with any around here, they do spoil the natural landscape and they say make quite a noise.
