Flying Hummingbird

One more of my attempts to get a photo of the hummingbirds that visit my place. It's not real good but it keeps me in the Hummer Club here at The Lens Flare.

LOL.. I forget about the winters Carol, it just gets cold here for a few months. I'm going to see if the hummers hang around all winter.

Hey Mike, I have been watching them and noticed that they show up right at sunrise to a hour or so afterwords. I went outside stood around for about ten minutes and he or she showed up. They also show up in the late evenings. Learning how critters act is very useful, now I need to learn how to take there photos and where to stand.

Hi Alan;

Its a very long cold winter in the Northeast.

On cold wintry days its nice to look at our pretty little Hummer files.

For now you can keep those Hummers uploaded, we love them.

Thanks everyone for all your really nice comments. I did not need to hear that some of you are hoarding hummer shots :( That's not right LOL...

Yes Alan, good action hummer shot. Not easy to get even if they are just hovering. I miss these little guys when they move out. Already looking forward to next year when they come back. I too have a few hummer shots up my sleeve...lol. Nice work, Don
