Hi Mary, Alandra and Talsi,

Thank you all for your kind comments. This photo was taken at a wedding held at a private winery in the Napa Valley.

Regarding lenses, you tend to get what you pay for. The "L" (Pro series) lenses are more expensive but they're fast and sharp, focus well in low light, and hold up under constant tough use. Remembering that a camera is just a box that holds the film (or digital memory), it's the lens that determines the image quality. All things being equal, a hundred dollar camera with a thousand dollar lens will take better photos than a thousand dollar camera with a hundred dollar lens.

Doug :)

A lovely Bride and Keepsake photo. What a pretty bouquet too. That lens does appear to be a great one. Nothing like the L series lenses. Am addicted now also : )
