Loose Voltage

A lightning bolt coming out of the storm right at you. Here in Golden Valley the storms seem to follow the mountains and luckily the lightning to. I have though beet feet into the house when I reach my fear level. I really enjoy taking lightning photos, it's like playing the lottery or fishing. You don't know when or where the lightning will strike, push the shutter and hope for the best.

Hi Ann, Thanks very much :) I guess I'm a tad touched, but I just can't help it. When the lightning is flashing, I'm out taking photos. During the 30 years at my house the lightning always hits the mountains and leaves the houses down lower alone, so I feel pretty safe. I have ran back in the house a few times..

Thanks Zoya and Dud!!

Not a lot in timing. I think I was using a ten second exposure time and did luck out and get the lightning in that time. :)
