Waterlily pink

pink waterlily in our little lilypond on front patio.

I was laying down beside the pond to get some of these shots lol

noticed later that there's a small spider on one petal, plus a fly at the tip of another petal : )

A beautiful wataer lily. There used to be a pond of white water lilies near us but a business man came in and destroyed it for his log cutting and sawing business. So very sad. Now I can look at yours and soak up their beauty. The fly and spider came out well. (g) Great shot!!

thanks Phil. sorry about yours not blooming. I think our waterlilies were late blooming this summer too, and the flowers seem smaller than usual. They got some type of aphids on the stems recently, which we'd never had happen before, from the infected rose bush that was in the border above the pond. we cut the rosebush down so hope it won't happen again.
