South Haven Light at mid day

South Haven Light looks quite tiny after the majestic Cape Hatteras and Bodie Island Lights, but she's still an "old friend" from my Michigan years - even if she does need a new coat of paint!

Thank you Carol. This used to be very rocky and treacherous until the beach was reconfigured. Still, my son (now 36) was caught in an undertow there when he was 12 and to this day will not go back in the water. The water department behind posts the water temperature every day in a window - it was 67F the day I took this.

Nice picture of the Lighthouse, looks like a great place to relax.
