During my absence from TLF, and through a long limited-access to the internet, I've become a digital scrapping addict. Living in a house on wheels, weight and storage are at a premium, so using my images in creative ways for cards and albums takes up much of my time - but in a pleasing way.

Last summer we were in the foothills of the Catrskills. The lake in our park was beautiful and I created this composite from several images I took in the early Fall. The framing was created by using part of the trees and creating a braid effect. I also took several leaf images - one of which I used here. The background 'paper' was created by making a negative of the colors then distorting them into a pleasing contrast for my overall composition.
