Freedom

This beautiful tiger is free from his cage at the Big Cat rescue in Tampa, but only in this layered photo. He looks so peaceful and majestic against the pretty sky, free like he was meant to be. Thanks for looking. Don

A great composite, Don. Was this taken during your recent wedding trip to Florida? This is terrific.

You're right Don - when creating composites it is important to watch lighting directions and consider different variables when assembling them.

Thanks Mary and OB! I just used the basic photo program that came with the camera. Arcsoft Photostudio 5.5 for Canon. It is just what I'm used to. The work was all done by hand erasing, really simple, but a little time consuming. I think the trick to making a decent layered photo is having shots that compliment each other. Not always easy, I usually try 5 or 6 different backgrounds until one catches my eye. And ones that I like may not always suit others tastes I've found, lol. I'm glad you 2 like this one. There is a problem with Arcsoft that I should mention. Recently I've had to re-size my photos in another program as they do not up-load to the LF site or Yahoo properly if I don't. Some sort of Glitch that Mary discovered while trying to help me figure it out, very strange. Thanks again for the kind words. Don

Fantastic shot of a super animal, and you are extremely good at editing & collage of photos. I too am curious as to which program did you use.
