Lovely shot with the road leading you right into the mountains.

Thanks for the really nice comments, and yes I surely will visit the NZ site Deb. Thanks.

Hi again, an invitation to visit the NZ Collection on my website www.silverdebster.com - always a welcome to photographers of NZ scenery to have their own gallery on the site (if their work's of a standard), and we have a spot for Mt Egmont... Deb. P.S This is in addition to your gallery on TLF, not instead of.

Wow, you can spot NZ scenery a mile off. Interesting perspective here, the tree looks so big in relation to the road and the Mt even, you've caught an optical illusion :)

"I will lift up my eyes, unto the mountains." And I also loved the country road - unknown, mysterious id the path one follows. Wonderful picture.

Really nice shot. Taking your camera to the mailbox is nothing! Things are really bad when you take my camera with you to the bathroom. I don't find much to photograph there. (But I do read the manual!).

Really pretty view! I like the way the road leads your eyes to the big tree and then the mountain. I would go crazy there taking photos every ten feet while walking down that road.

I also never leave home without my camera. I'm so bad that I take it with me even when I walk out our front gate to the mailbox. I'm now trying to keep my tripod on my camera all the time, but it's hard.
