Superstitions with Snow

An unusual sight. Snow on the Superstition Mountains, east of us. These mountains are visible from our home and are always a welcome sight.

Thanks Alandra and Alex. I grew up with the Rocky Mountains of Colorado always visible to the west. My friends and I often rode our bikes up into those mountains. We have desert mountains here. Not really the same, but I still like to see them.

Alex, the way things have gone here, these mountains are now visible only from our roof. There is a big wall just east of us. It is meant to block the freeway noise.

very impressive sight, Gary. I know what you mean about the mountains being a welcome sight. Have always felt that way myself, about having mountains "near" me. Almost as if they are Guardians.
